Thematic Day of ENERWOODS Project

Welcome to join the thematic day on active forest management for increasing biomass production in Norway. 

Biomass from forestry will be the most important contribution to achieve Government objectives of doubling the share of renewable bioenergy in Norway by 2020 and to reduce fossil energy. This seminar will highlight some potential silvicultural measures to increase biomass production in the region.

The seminar will be a mix of popular and scientific information, and will include both a lecture and an excursion. 

This event aims to bring together: forestry officials, managers, cooperative forestry representatives, forest industry representatives, researchers, and other Nordic actors.
